June 30, 2007 (New event date)  New to this year’s event: Concert and Dance With Jarrod Birmingham and Darren Kozelsky A day of music, food and fun is topped off with a patriotic concert and a huge fireworks extravaganza over Lake Texana. The South Texas Wheel Spinners & Crank Twisters Club will have antique tractors on display.  They will also have slow races, plus a parade through the park. Music will begin at 3:00 p.m. on the outdoor stage.  A special flag ceremony will be held at sunset with special recognition of active duty military and veterans. Throughout the day, games and food will be available.  Games include a Bungee Run, Moonwalk, Sports Zone, Water Slide, Mini-Train, Duck Pond, Fish Pond and Toy Wheel. The event is held in Brackenridge Plantation Park, and sponsored by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture.
